CJP Slams Govt. For Drowned The Education System

LAHORE: The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Sunday said that the government has damaged the education system across the country.

According to Express News, in the Supreme Court Lahore Registry, a notice was issued against the appointment of Merit-based Voice Chancellor at Lahore College for Women University. The hearing was given by the two-member bench, headed by Chief Justice Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar. Vice Chancellors of Lahore College for Women University, Dr. Kazmi Qureshi, appeared in court.

The Chief Justice has remarked how seniors were ignored, the court is aware that the role of Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal is in the deployment. Azimi Qureshi said Ahsan Iqbal is the father of my father, I say Halfa says there is no role in the deployment of Ahsan Iqbal. The Chief Justice said that the system dumped the system of education, it is the performance of the Punjab government, will not tolerate any deployment on the merit against merit.

Advocate General Punjab said that a search committee comprising Riazq Dawood, Omar Saif, Zafar Iqbal Qureshi has been formed. Chief Justice Pakistan expressed satisfaction over the new research committee and said it was balanced and said that this committee would set up recommendations for the establishment of VSZ in public sector universities.

The Supreme Court ordered the Vice Chancellor of Lahore College Women University, Fatima Jinnah University, Rawalpindi Medical University, Faisalabad Medical University to resign, said that the search committees would appoint Vice Chancellors on Merit and the Government would be within six weeks of merit. The Vice-Chancellor, Lahore College for Women University, Dr. Azimi Qureshi, refused to resign.

It is clear that the Chief Justice Pakistan issued a notice of the appointment of Vice Chancellor of Lahore College for Women University while issuing a notice to Higher Education Minister Gilani Gilani and Dr. Muhammadi Qureshi, after which both the Super Courts Lahore Lahore Registry were present.
