Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Bollywood Super Star stole the show in a recent 17th appearance at the Cannes Film Festival 2018. Her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan too accompanied her beautiful mommy at the much-awaited film event.
Aishwarya Rai and the popular actor spoke about why she chose to be a part of her upcoming film titled ‘Fanne Khan’. Aish averred that only a character, a leading lady or a glamorous part is not what the most important thing is for her. She commented that people often forget that she did a part in ‘Iruvar’ back in 1997, during her initial days. She recounted that she did play Shah Rukh Khan’s sister in Josh (2000).
Aish further added that the reason of her taking up ‘Fanne Khan’ is that she likes the larger idea of the film. Defining her character, she said that a girl looks up to her role who is a pop star. And added, that such icons too have a real side. And that she felt that it’s important for her as a star to come out and speak about such issues in today’s day and time. Atul Manjrekar’s ‘Fanne Khan’ also stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in pivotal roles. The movie is slated to release on July 13, 2018.
